We shine brightest on full decks—complete, seamless surfaces cut to your boat. But a deck isn’t always what you need, so we make smaller products that solve the same problems on a smaller scale.

Every piece is cut from the same marine-grade EVA we use on our decks, on the same machine, to the same standard. Nothing about the material changes when the piece gets smaller.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

One process. All products.

Whichever Ultimat product you’re holding, the process is identical. Four steps, and one waiting period.

Preparation

Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. It must be sound, dry, and free of wax, polish, or loose gelcoat. Apply above 60°F—cold surfaces create a weak initial bond.

Placement

Dry-fit first, before you peel anything. Check position and orientation, then mark it if it helps. Once the adhesive is down, you don’t get a second placement.

Adhesion

Peel from one end and lay the piece down progressively, working across. Don’t drop the whole piece at once—that’s how you trap air.

Pressure

Apply firm pressure across the entire surface, working from the center outward. Press hardest along the edges—an edge is where failure starts.

THEN—CURE

Give it 24 hours before heavy use, and 72 hours before anything abrasive works across it. The bond keeps building after it feels solid.

MAINTENANCE & REPLACEMENT

Built to take abuse so your boat doesn’t.

Rinse with fresh water and mild soap. Nothing else is required—no oiling, no sealing, no annual refinish.

Replacement is the product working as intended.

Ultimat products are wear surfaces. When a piece has done its job, removing it and fitting a new one is a ten-minute task that costs a fraction of repairing what was underneath.
